Free telephone consultation: 15 minutes
I offer a free online 15 minute consultation. This is a chance to meet, test the internet connection and answer any questions you might have. There is no commitment to enter into counselling with me. The most important thing is that you find a counsellor you like and feel comfortable with, and I will be happy to help you find the right person.
Intake Appointment: 50 minutes
Our first appointment will give us time to start building a picture of your history and current situation. We will also go through paper work unless you have already completed it. This is also an opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
Ongoing Counselling Appointments: 50 minutes
We will meet 50 minutes per session. In the final ten minutes, we will wind down and schedule our next appointment.
Final Session: 50 minutes
At some point you may feel like taking a break or concluding treatment.
How many sessions would you recommend?
I would recommend a commitment to 6 sessions once a week initially to begin our work together. However, this can be discussed further and we can plan around your needs.
It's important you feel safe when working with me
